CignaPlus Savings
The CignaPlus Savings® program, powered by Cigna Dental Network Access®, is a discount dental program. It's not insurance, so there are no claim forms to file. You will be able to identify CignaPlus Savings patients when they present their ID cards prior to receiving service. The ID card will be imprinted with the Cigna logo as well as the following phrases, "This is not insurance." and "The card holder is directly responsible for all payment to the Dentist or Provider."
CignaPlus Savings patients are responsible for paying you the entire amount for services as indicated on your DPPO negotiated fee schedule. That's it! No claim forms to file, no need to verify eligibility, and no pre–authorizations are required.
How the CignaPlus Savings Program works:
- CignaPlus Savings patients will present their ID cards prior to receiving services at your office. Your office should verify that the ID card contains the Cigna logo. The card will also indicate that the card holder is responsible for all payment to the Dentist or Practitioner.
- Your office should collect fees that match your Cigna PPO discount fee schedule. The patient is responsible for the entire fee at the contracted rate.
- We recommend that you complete a treatment plan and detail the full course of treatment and payment arrangements with the patient at the outset.
CignaPlus SavingsSM is a dental discount program that provides patients access to discounted fees, according to schedules negotiated by Cigna Dental with participating providers, whose patients are responsible for paying in full, directly to participating practitioners.
