Cigna Behavioral Health’s Treatment Guidelines
Cigna Behavioral Health has written guidelines for level of care determinations ("Level of Care Guidelines") and clinical practice ("Preferred Practice" or "Clinical Practice Guidelines"). These help behavioral health professionals determine which benefits apply in particular courses of treatment.
The Cigna Behavioral Health Level of Care guidelines incorporate the American Psychiatric Association's clinical practice guidelines. Here is the latest edition Level of Care document.
