With Cigna Vision, your patients can access quality vision care, including a comprehensive vision and eye-health exam. Coverage may also include glasses and/or contact lenses. Members can visit in-network or out-of-network health care professionals—it's all about choices.

How It Works: Choice & Quality at a Cost Effective Price

Our network includes thousands of independent eye care professionals, plus a nationally recognized retail optical network of familiar names. Members have the option of going in-network or out-of-network, but receive more value by choosing care from an in-network provider.

When Cigna members visit a participating eye care professional, they pay only a minor fee (copay) for the vision examination and any amount over the stated allowances for materials. Cigna processes out-of-network claims within 10 business days of receipt of a clean claim and itemized receipt.

Members who choose to use an out-of-network professional pay that professional in full at the time of service and submit a claim form to Cigna Vision for reimbursement.
